TERRI LEE is vice president of state government affairs and policy, at Merck. Lee leads legislative advocacy and policy development for state issues impacting the company across the United States. She and her team collaborate with state elected and appointed officials, governmental entities, and local and national policy organizations to address legislative policy issues that impact the discovery of innovative medicines, vaccines, and animal health products while improving and protecting patient access to care. She has also held positions in sales and recruiting & development. With more than 25 years of legislative policy experience, Lee has specialized in political activity compliance, key issue response management, and cross-functional collaboration with an extensive network of internal and external partners on policy initiatives. She represents Merck with national and local industry groups, including PhRMA, where she is a former Chair of the State Section, and BIO’s Vaccine Government Affairs Advisory Group.
