Reagen Price
Reagen Price is a strategist, facilitator, organizer and steadfast social justice advocate. She co-founded the Coalition for Racial Justice, a growing collaborative of neighbors, leaders and institutions organized to eliminate race-based disparities in Philadelphia. By design, the Coalition brings advocates and academics together to work in activism and allyship. The goal of it all is to heal and rebuild the community we live in and love. This effort was largely inspired by Price’s experience working alongside leaders of the Seattle Race and Social Justice Initiative. There, she trained over 600 government employees on the historical contexts and present-day impacts of institutional racism, budget and policy analysis for racial equity, and translating the theory of racial justice into practice. Now, after leading outreach, recruitment and alumni engagement across Pennsylvania with political training institute Center for Progressive Leadership, Price has joined Teach for America as the Greater Philadelphia region’s director of alumni affairs.
