MORGAN BERMAN is the founder of MilkCrate, a B-Corp certified company that helps organizations function more like social enterprises by equipping them with tools to build, engage and monetize their audience. MilkCrate has built an award-winning platform that launches customizable apps for mission driven organizations. She also sits on the boards of Philly Startup Leaders and the Philadelphia Chapter of Alma Links – two local organizations supporting the startup community. Inspired by two social entrepreneur parents, her own professional experience in the nonprofit world, and a masters in design, she launched MilkCrate in 2014. Earning invites to the White House to discuss climate change and even earned praise from the UN Foundation as one of the Top Female Entrepreneurs to Watch, she is eager to help other entrepreneurs, especially underrepresented ones, find their chance to do good through business. Berman was invited by the Obama Administration to participate in policy talks at the White House, was selected by Forbes for the 30 Under 30 Pitch Summit, gave a TEDx talk on chasing dreams, auditioned for Shark Tank, and won the Rad Girl Product of the Year Award.
