Marian Conicella
Marian Conicella joined MetroCorp’s Philadelphia magazine in 1981, and today, serves as the magazine’s vice president, publisher and chief revenue officer. Philadelphia magazine is one of the country’s most distinguished monthly publications. During her tenure, Conicella was instrumental in establishing six publications within the Philadelphia brand portfolio: Philadelphia Wedding, TASTE, A.C. NOW, Philadelphia Home, Be Well Philly and most recently, GPhilly. She was also influential in launching phillymag.com. As a MetroCorp senior executive, Conicella is highly influential in planning and development for Boston magazine, also part of MetroCorp’s corporate holdings. Conicella graduated from Temple University. Involved with numerous organizations, Conicella is a prominent member of the City and Regional Magazine Association (CRMA), serving on the board of directors and executive committee. She has served as both president and vice president, and founded and chaired the membership committee. Previously on the boards of MANNA and the Scantastic advisory board, Conicella is currently active on the boards of the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, Philadelphia Gay Caucus and Philadelphia Committee to End Homelessness. She has also been an active member of St. Andrew’s Parish, Girls Scouts Take the Lead Committee, Cherry Hill Rotary Breakfast Club, The Third Friday Friars and a guest lecturer at Temple University and Neumann College. @PhillyMag
