Kiersten Combs

KIERSTEN COMBS is vice president, US cardiovascular and metabolic disease (US CVMD) with AstraZeneca US. In this role, she leads the overall US CVMD team, and is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the cardiovascular and diabetes business units. During her fifteen years with AstraZeneca, Combs has served in various roles across many areas of the business, both in the US and globally, starting in supply chain and commercial operations. She has held marketing leadership roles for BRILINTA, CRESTOR, and EPANOVA and has held sales leadership roles in the both the respiratory and diabetes organizations. Most recently, Combs was global vice president, roxadustat, where she was responsible for setting the global strategy for the launch and commercialization of roxadustat, including working to support regions and key markets in setting and executing launch strategies. Combs is a graduate of Cornell University with a BS in business management and marketing and lives in Pennsylvania with her daughter. @astrazeneca
