Kathy Lampl

Kathy L Lampl, M.D., is senior director, clinical development for AstraZeneca. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, she was in the private practice of allergy and clinical immunology in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C. for over 20 years. During this time, she was principal investigator for multiple pharmaceutical sponsored trials. In 2008 she led the efficacy work stream of the Symbicort Pediatric sNDA which received a CRL.  Subsequently she became the global lead physician for the Symbicort Pediatric Program to respond to the CRL and fulfill the PREA obligation. Lampl earned her M.D. at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed her training in internal medical at Rush Medical College Chicago, and her fellowship in allergy and clinical immunology at Johns Hopkins. @AstraZeneca
