Frankie Darcell

Frankie Darcell is an in-demand radio personality, author, producer and speaker, who’s interviewed everyone from President Obama, to Aretha Franklin and KEM, to Reality Star NeNe Leakes. While attending college, Darcell began her career as an undergraduate at the University’s WEAA-FM. In Detroit in 1993, she became host of the “Mid-day Mix.” In 2013, she joined Philadelphia’s WDAS-FM afternoon drive with “The Talk Of The Town,” from 3:00pm -7:00pm weekdays, and Saturdays at 10:00am.  She’s also in syndication in 22 markets with Clear Channel’s Premium Choice. Darcell is an author, lecturer and businesswoman whose accomplishments as an executive producer include Eve Ensler’s “Vagina Monologues.” She also produced and directed Ntozake Shange’s off Broadway play, “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf,” and “Miss Metro Teen Pageant,” which gifted $25,000 in scholarships. Her greatest joy and reward is being a Mom to her teen-age daughter Phallon.
