ERICA SPENCER is vice president, human resources at Axalta. She leads the company’s global talent management, HR technology, and HRIS functions. This includes overseeing Axalta’s talent acquisition, learning and leadership development, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, culture, performance management, succession planning, change management, HR technology, and HRIS systems. Before joining Axalta, Spencer served as vice president, global learning & development at Marriott International. Prior to her time at Marriott International, she was global lead, talent management at Novo Nordisk. In that role, Spencer led all aspects of talent assessment and development, as well as global succession planning. Other roles at Novo Nordisk included responsibilities around learning, organization development, change management and serving as a HR business partner. Spencer received a BA in psychology from the University of Northern Iowa and an MS and PhD in industrial/organizational psychology from Illinois Institute of Technology.
