Darius Golback
DARIUS GOLBACK is sous chef in culinary services at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA). He specializes in planning and preparing health-conscious meals for patients with varying cancer diagnoses. Golback started at CTCA® as a cook and soon after was promoted to sous chef where he is responsible for responding to patient food requests, dietary needs and recipe questions. His favorite memory as an employee at the hospital is from when he prepared an anniversary dinner for a patient and his wife. He got to set up an entire meal and dining experience for the couple, in spite of the fact that they could not go out on the town. Golback got his start in the restaurant business in downtown Philadelphia after earning his associate’s degree in culinary arts at the Culinary Institute of America in New York. He has also earned an associate’s degree in information technology and is pursuing a B.S. in health administration from the University of Phoenix. @ctca
