Charisse R. Lillie
CHARISSE R. LILLIE is fellow and vice president of community investment with Comcast Corporation, and executive vice president of the Comcast Foundation. Previously she was a partner in the law firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, in Philadelphia. Prior to joining the firm, Lillie’s legal experience included positions as trial attorney, U.S. Department of Justice, civil rights division, assistant United States attorney for the E.D.PA. and city solicitor of the City of Philadelphia. She is a member of the board of trustees for Howard University, NBCUniversal Foundation and The Franklin Institute. She is also a member of The Executive Leadership Council. Lillie served as chairman of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, and as a member for seven years. She is a member of the board of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, and PECO, an Excelon Company. She is also a member of the PNC regional advisory board, Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. Lillie earned a B.A. in 1973 from Wesleyan University, cum laude, as well as a J.D. in 1976 from Temple Law School, dean’s honor list and an LL.M. in 1982 from Yale Law School. She has been awarded honorary degrees from Seton Hill University, Peirce College and Cheyney University. @comcast
