Participants in the QVC and zulily Product Search will have the opportunity to present their product to a panel of retail experts—including QVC Program Host Rachel Boesing; zulily chief merchant Lori Twomey; QVC director of vendor education, development and new vendor discovery Heather McNicholl; QVC associate buyer for household and home improvement Christine Dunn; and QVC beauty buyer for color cosmetics and nailcare Ariana Sweet. - All registered Conference attendees are eligible to participate; non-attendees may request a complimentary Expo Hall pass in order to participate
- Presentations will take place between 7:30am and 4pm, except during keynote sessions
- This event will take place inside the Exhibit Hall
- While there are no presentation requirements, participants are encouraged to describe key elements of their product including:
- Personal story behind the product
- Research that indicates a market need
- Target market
- Key benefits
- Competitive products and how theirs is different or better
- Suggested price point
Questions & Answers
Do I need to have a sample of my product on stage?
Yes. Presenters should have a product that is in prototype or at least close to retail-ready. See more information on eligible product categories below.
Is there a standby list for people who couldn’t get an appointment?
Yes – a small number of appointments will be available after 4pm to accommodate standbys.
How long should my presentation be?
Your appointment is 10 minutes total, including the time it takes the panel to give you feedback. With that in mind, please keep your presentation to approximately five minutes, and no longer than eight minutes, to allow adequate time for a response.
