HON. ALISON YOUNG is managing partner of Red, White and Blue Strategies, and chair of the firm’s leadership training practice group. A certified coach and nationally recognized expert on emotional intelligence, Young advises international NGOs, hedge funds, and corporate clients on leadership, culture, and philanthropy. Young is an on-air contributor for BCC (London), Dan Abrams Live (national), and 6ABC’s Inside Story (Philadelphia). Young also serves on the faculty of The Campaign School at Yale. She previously served as executive director of the Institute for Strategic Leadership in Drexel’s LeBow College of Business and as VP for external affairs at the National Constitution Center. In 2017, Young was named as Eisenhower Fellow to China, studying the underrepresentation of women in G20 governments. Young is a former Senior White House Official, having served as a special assistant to President George W. Bush and director of USA Freedom Corps. Young earned a BA from Grove City College, an MA from George Washington University, and is currently a doctoral candidate at NYU. She is an appointed Commissioner to the Pennsylvania Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial in 2026. Young serves as a board member for multiple organizations including the Pennsylvania Conference for Women and the Philadelphia Orchestra and Kimmel Center, Inc. She is a member of the Forum of Executive Women and the Pennsylvania Society.
