2018 Attendees: Plan Your Day at the Conference!

We’d like to thank…

Our amazing sponsors! We could not put on this event without their support, and we encourage you to get to know the companies demonstrating their real commitment to women in the workplace.

The Best Way to Plan Your Day

If you’re a computer person… The online agenda is your best bet. Search by time or breakout session track, plus check out Exhibit Hall programming and author signing schedules, or download a printer-friendly abridged version of the print program. paconferenceforwomen.org/agenda

If you’re never without your smartphone… Search “PennWomen” in your app store and set up an account within our brand-new app! Save sessions to your own private agenda, check out who will be exhibiting and attending, and interact with other attendees with just a tap, tap, tap.

If you’re an early riser… Convention center doors open at 6:30 a.m. so you can grab a printed program and highlight to your heart’s content.

If you want information delivered to you with a soundtrack… You might want to spend five minutes with our updated Newcomer’s Guide. (Also available as a PDF.)

Don’t Forget Your Badge!

You must print and cut out your badge before you arrive at the convention center. To print your badge, log in to the registration and click “Print Badges.” If you are attending the Conference as a guest, ask your main registrant to email your badge to you. If you are the main registrant for a group of people, log in to registration to email badges to your attendees for printing.

Reminder: New Entrance This Year

Our convention center layout has changed. Start on the west side of the convention center (Broad Street Atrium) to find registration and bag distribution, and be sure to study the maps you’ll find in the print program and the all-new conference app.

Enter the convention center through the doors on Broad Street OR at the corner of Arch & N. 13th Streets West.

What to Expect

The Pennsylvania Conference for Women is anchored by two powerful keynote sessions – one in the morning and one over lunch; three different hour-long breakout sessions and multiple small business and tech roundtables in the afternoon. But that’s not nearly all!

Enter the Exhibit Hall and you’ll find the Beneficial Social Hub, the Drexel LeBow Career Pavilion, the Prudential Financial Pavilion, the Health & Wellness Pavilion, the Comcast Community Connection Pavilion, the Education Pavilion, and the Women-Owned Business Marketplace. Within these pavilions you’ll find a variety of mini-workshops, free headshot opportunities, résumé and career experts, author book signings, and much more.

❦ All attendees are invited to a wine tasting reception sponsored by Fine Wine & Good Spirits in the Exhibit Hall from 4:00-5:00 pm. (Stop by their booth – #445 – to sign up & grab a wristband!)

Social Hub

The Social Hub, sponsored by Beneficial, is the perfect spot to connect and recharge! Charge your devices, network, catch up on emails, or relax in comfortable lounge seating with a cup of coffee.

Come here to participate in Tech Roundtables with local experts from 3:00 pm – 4:40 pm.

And do not miss Amanda Healy’s famous LinkedIn Profile Makeover Workshops, offered from 11:00 am – 4:45 pm.

Career Pavilion

The Career Pavilion, sponsored by Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, is open all day, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, and is one of our attendees’ favorite offerings for a reason.

You’ll want to bring your current résumé for free professional critique, and organize your thoughts in advance for a free one-on-one coaching session with a coach from the International Coach Federation, Philadelphia Chapter.

We’ve also got some great career mini-workshops scheduled throughout the day. No advance sign-up is required for Career Pavilion offerings.

Health & Wellness Pavilion

You won’t want to miss the Target Lifestyle Lounge, where you can kick back, charge your phone, and score some free samples.

Head to the Bristol-Myers Squibb booth for a snack, then attend one of five fascinating Health & Wellness Classroom workshops, held throughout the day.

Community Connection Pavilion

The Pennsylvania Conference for Women believes in “The Power of Us.” We know that as much as women give to their communities, they also gain. Please spend some time in our Community Connection Pavilion, sponsored by Comcast Business, to learn how you can become more deeply involved in shaping the values and vision of not only your neighborhood, but the world.

Don’t forget to bring your donations for Qurate Retail Group’s professional accessory drive benefitting Career Wardrobe!

★ Take the Lead ★

Women need to be part of shaping the vision, values and policies of government at all levels. We believe the PA Conference for Women community is uniquely qualified to step up and change the world.

Both the League of Women Voters and the Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics will be on hand to help you get more involved in civic leadership.

Education Pavilion

Here you’ll find the Conference Bookstore and Author Signings, plus some great offerings from the Villanova School of Business. Score a new headshot and meet one-on-one with Dean Joyce E. A. Russell, PhD to discuss strategies for supercharging your career.

Women-Owned Business Marketplace

Come take advantage of the many opportunities available to entrepreneurs in the Women-Owned Business Marketplace, plus support other women-owned small businesses by shopping the exhibits.

From 3:00 – 4:40 pm, join one of several Small Business Roundtables for an intimate unscripted talk led by an expert facilitator.
