Dresden Schumaker (@dresdenplaid)

Dresden Shumaker has been blogging for nearly seven years about her path to single parenting at Creating Motherhood. She lives in Philadelphia, founded Plaid House Designs, works in PR and campaigns for AboutOne.com and writes for various sites online. She is working on two books: a memoir about caregiving for a loved one at home and a children’s book debunking the myth of normal a family.

Jo-Lynne Shane (@JoLynneS)

Jo-Lynne Shane is a freelance writer, brand ambassador and entrepreneur living in Chester County and known for her award-winning blog, Musings of a Housewife. She is co-founder of Philly Social Media Moms and creator of PSMM Events, a workshop series designed to educate and support the local blogging community. Named one of Nielsen’s Power Moms, she sits on the advisory board for Bloganthropy.org and is a brand ambassador for Therapon Skin Health.

Julie Meyers Pron (@justprecious)

Julie Meyers Pron has been breaking ground in social media for almost 15 years as a school teacher, PR executive and professional blogger. A founding partner of both Just Centsible Consulting and Splash Creative Media, she helps connect brands with individuals. Her recent speaking engagements include Blogher 2011, NAWBO and Bloggy Boot Camp. Julie blogs at Just-Precious.com and lives in Chester County.

Annie Heckenberger leads PR and social media disciplines for Red Tettemer. She spent 11 years in the NYC PR agency world, where she incorporated social media into campaigns on behalf of great brands. In 2006, she relocated to Philadelphia and established a social media discipline for GPTMC and helped create the award-winning uwishunu, a social media-focused campaign created to increase visitation to Philly. At the same time, she spearheaded BlogPhiladelphia, a free two-day unconference attended by 250+ people from 10 states. She founded and co-leads the Philly chapter of Social Media Club and is a member of SMC’s national advisory board.
